The automotive crash test dummy (Anthropomorphic Test Device, ATD) is a precision instrument that simulates human biomechanical characteristics. It is used in vehicle crash tests to quantify occupant injury risk by measuring key injury metrics such as head acceleration, chest compression, and neck moments through built-in sensors, and to verify the protective effect of restraint systems such as seat belts, airbags, and child seats. It meets the mandatory testing requirements of various national regulations including China's GB standards, US FMVSS, and European ECE.
